on Wilson Airport, Nairobi, the heart of all private and commercial light aircraft
activities in the country, the Aero Club offers a friendly atmosphere where pilots,
engineers and enthusiasts can get together, exchange ideas and relax in comfortable
surroundings.

airfield itself is a short distance from the center of town and on the edge of
the Athi Plains, with simple access to the Nairobi National Park and Jomo Kenyatta
International Airport.
Since its inception, the Aero Club of
East Africa has been at the forefront of aviation activities in the country: basic
flying training, competitions, air shows, safety seminars, navigation, and so
on. As the aviation world has grown
and evolved, so too has the Aero Club.
The View Across
To The Airfield | We are justifiably proud of our history and
the contributions made to general aviation
in Kenya. Today the Aero Club of East Africa continues to be a voice for
the aviation community, keeping the regulators on their toes to ensure a safe
and pleasant flying environment.
